New KAGE mashes

2 new KAGE mashes posted at soundcloud.com: click the down-arrow to download the 320 kbs .mp3's. Just Dance is a mash using cuts of Tasmanian Disco's remix of Set Me Free by Phonat, and Day N Nite was made using the instrumental of Emynd's remix of Frowny Face by Gucci Mane.

Thanks to everybody who made it to the frat party! I don't have any more shows lined up until Riverfest in Iowa City... not sure when yet, but I'm tentatively scheduled to play on a stage on Iowa Avenue, so that's sweet - thanks Josh Messer! In other news, an earthquake hit my mom's house in Illinois, lol wtf? And I guess a meteorite destroyed a bridge in Mexico? 2010: YEAR OF EARTHQUAKES!1

2010

It looks like barring any mega earthquakes, 2010 is here to stay, but let us not forget all the great tracks that made 2009 the year for Electro music! Last year we saw the blogosphere explode with upcoming artists like Passion Pit, La Roux, Lady Gaga (ugh) and we also saw great artists hit the mainstream (Breakbot signed with Ed Banger - possible opener for Justice/Daft Punk? Calvin Harris, etc) so much to mention that I'm sure I missed someone. I haven't mixed anywhere for awhile, but have been doing quite a bit of mash-up work in my off-time. I recently released a dub-banger mash of Wayne/Drake's 'Money To Blow' with Nero's remix of Deadmau5's 'Ghosts N Stuff.' You can download it for free here, along with others. I'm back at KRUI 89.7 FM for my last semester at University of Iowa for 2 hours every Wednesday at midnight, stream it live here!

Check out Breakbot's new track, Make You Mine.

A Church Banger that sounds suspiciously like Justice.
