New Set, New Remix

My friends from Barrington formed a new band recently that's been receiving quite a bit of positive attention. Mike Sanfillippo, the lead singer, recently made it to the top 50 round on American Idol, and the band has been featured on the NY Times as well as The Next Big Sound. Mike recently asked me if I could try remixing one of their tracks, Saving Seconds. I'm not fully satisfied with my remix yet, but you can hear it in the set I posted today at about 13 minutes in. Their band is Bright Like Japan and I would recommend checking out their Myspace.

Recorded a new live set earlier today with a lot of new tracks I've had stuck on repeat. I'm currently in love with Yuksek, especially the track Extraball on their first album, Away From The Sea, released February 2nd. I'd definitely check out the album as it features other great artists like Chromeo and Sh!t Disco. You'll hear Extraball, Saving Seconds, and many other new tracks in my latest live set, 2-26-09
